How to Revive Dead Players in Don't Starve Together

Thankfully, there are multiple ways to revive yourself in Don't Starve Together using items. It's a good idea to craft some items to help you revive long before you die, so you'll have them ready and on hand when and if you do.

Use Touch Stones

Touch Stones are the only way to revive in Don't Starve Together that does not require the player to craft anything. To revive using a Touch Stone, you'll have to find one of the several ones around each map and simply float over it as a ghost. You can only revive once at each Touch Stone, so if you end up dying again, you'll need to try one of the other methods on this list or locate another Touch Stone.

Use Life Giving Amulet

Amulets are another method to bring yourself back to life in Don't Starve Together. To revive using the Life Giving Amulet, just craft it and float over it, just as you did with the Touch Stones.

Here's what you'll need to craft a Life Giving Amulet:

  • 1 Red Gem
  • 2 Nightmare Fuel
  • 3 Gold Nuggets

Craft a Meat Effigy

Like all other revive items except the Touch Stones, you'll need to craft the Meat Effigy if you want to use it to bring yourself back. Also like those other items, to use it, all you need to do is float through it as a ghost.

You'll need the following ingredients to make your own Meat Effigy:

  • 4 Beard Hairs
  • 4 Boards

How To Revive A Friend In Don't Starve Together

The only method to revive your friends in Don't Starve Together is to use the Telltale Heart. To make it, you'll need:

  • 1 Spider Gland
  • 3 Cut Grass

Next, you'll just need to approach the ghost of the dead player and interact with them to bring them back.

While this is a great method to bring friends back into the game who don't have another way to come back on their own, it isn't exactly foolproof. Once you come back after being resurrected by the Telltale Heart, your health will be decreased by 25%, making it hard to find your footing and remain alive in the long run. It will also steal 40 HP from the player who made it, which isn't ideal, but either way, it's certainly better than being dead that's for sure.

Those are all of the methods you can use to bring yourself back from the dead, or revive friends, in Don't Starve Together. Now that you know all of the different ways you can bring your character back, you can use whichever one is optimal for the situation at hand.
