And San Bernardino County Coroner's Office has now confirmed that Wayne Static - real name Wayne Richard Wells - overdosed on a mix of alcohol and prescription drugs - including Oxycodone tablets.
TMZ reports that toxicologists found that the Static-X frontman had Oxycodone (generic Percocet), Hydromorphone, and Alprazolam (generic Xanax) along with alcohol in his system.

Immediately following his death, Wayne's wife Tera Wray - who was in bed with him at the time of his passing - denied he was abusing any drugs but admitted he'd been drinking.
In a statement she said: 'Wayne was not taking drugs. If anything, he was a drinker, and did not OD,'
'We all know that both Wayne and I had abused narcotics with alcohol in the past, which I am sure took a toll on his body, heart and soul,' she added

The coroner's report also said years of chronic drug and booze abuse played a factor in what they ruled as a 'natural death'.
A rep for the singer announced his untimely passing on November 1, just months before he was set to go on tour again, co-headlining with Powerman 5000 and Drowning Pool.
Static, whose band broke up in 2013 for the final time, was a fixture in the metal scene.
Six hours prior to the official announcement of his death, his Twitter account posted the news.

The singer formed Static-X in 1994 and released his first album Wisconsin Death Trip in 1999, which quickly went platinum.
The band went on to release five more records.
Before Wayne left the band for a solo career, the band released their final album Cult of Static in 2009.
In January a memorial rock concert was held in his honour at Whiskey-a-Go-Go in Los Angeles featuring performances from heavy metal legends like Dave Navarro, Alice Cooper among others.
