Flint continues his sprint and flings the giant axe at the remaining creature but the axe just misses the mark.

Loosh attacks the cave fisher dealing blows with each side of his pike. Shortly after Giana hits the creature with a flame and it howls in anguish.

Lal rushes the howling creature and delivers the final blow and the cave falls silent accept for the sounds of their breathing and of the water slowly trickling into the room.

GM:

"Let's just keep going!" suggested Loosh, his spirit back up, though he was disappointed that these "crabs" did not look like they were good-eating.

Ancalagon "Well, we certainly made a ruckus... no one hurt? Good!"

He then handed the minotaur's axe to Flint "erm... back home we don't throw these..."

Flint chuckles. "Neither do we, but I was figurin' that if I'm not hitting anything by slashing, perhaps I should be trying throwin'!"

With a grateful nods the dwarf grabs the axe again, then goes to check if the dead creatures had anything useful or valuable near the pool.

Harb Half-Elf Paladin

Walking up to the edge of the water, fully expecting with what he has seen from this place already to have something jump out at him, Harb watches for movement and sniffs the air.

"I don't know, it doesn't smell foul but it's hard to tell over those things." Harb motions to the crabs.

"What do you think Giana? Is this water safe for the people to drink?"

OOC:
Nature: [roll0]
Investigation [roll1]

Trying to figure out if there is anything moving in the water and if so what, also is the water drinkable?

Vin smiles at Flint, "I feel your pain, any advice for me?" he asks. "As I don't seem to be able to hit the broad side of a barn from five paces."

FitzTheRuke Loosh will poke his boarding pike in the water and see how deep it is.

OOC: (I believe it still has "light" cast on the point of it, too.)

Harb looks into the water nothing appears to be stirring just the slight movement from the water moving slowly in from the chamber to the east. As Loosh’s pike enters the water the remains of three troglodytes lie at the bottom of the pool which appears to be around 10 feet deep. Next to each of the bodies of the troglodytes lie their javelins.

Barely visible in the light just to the north of the troglodytes is the body of a Halfling wearing what appear to be the slightly tattered remains of a wizard’s cloak.

GM:
Over all the water looks fairly clean though it is a bit murky at the bottom any further investigation would most likely mean getting wet. The water is clear as it comes in from the small passageway to the east.

SunGold Corsa sets her weapons aside and takes her boots off. "Doesn't look deep, but something put them in there. Doubt it was the crabs."

She stands at the edge of the pool for a moment, glancing down as she dips a foot into the chilly water. "Well, desperate times...the halfling may have something worth swimming for. Keep an eye out, eh?"

She sits at the water's edge, takes a deep breath, and slips into the pool to retrieve the halfling's body.

As Corsa moves through the cold water she can more clearly see the body of the Halfling, by the looks of his body he had probably been in the water for quite some time. Next to the body of the Halfling is a small iron coffer.
GM:
The iron coffer is small but fairly heavy, Corsa can carry it up to the surface or the Halfling body but not both at the same time. The coffer has a simple looking lock on it.
